Symptom
Tera Term faild to display " ' " character if the LANG on OS is set in en_US.UTF8.
Step to reporduce
(1) Login to Linux system
(2) Set LANG as en_US.UTF8
# export LANG=en_US.UTF8
(3) Remove not existing file and see the failure message.
# rm /tmp/bbbb
Expected result.
# rm /tmp/bbbb
rm: cannot remove '/tmp/bbbb': No such file or directory
Actual Result.
# rm /tmp/bbbb
rm: cannot remove 窶・tmp/bbbb窶・ No such file or directory
This symptom reproduce with "Courier" or "Consolas" Font. and moji set is "欧文"

To display UTF-8 characters, you should change the setting of Tera Term to the UTF-8 mode.
