I have ANSI color coding in my Serial output to TerraTerm. Please add full color printing and font face and style control options.

The printed output is pretty disappointing. "Times Roman" font for output of a Terminal output isn't optimal. Courier New Bold would be much better.

You can specify the Printing font in TERATERM.INI.

I use TerraTerm v4.72 to send a text to an embedded computer using XON/XOF protocol at 57600 bps, 8n1 on Serial Port. Terminal is set to VT100. After 600 bytes are transferred, TerraTerm crashes ( I think while waiting for XON ) with a message box: Terra Term: Application fault. eax=004CB067 ebx=00000001 ecx=3FFEC41A edx=00000002 esi=00519FFD edi=00519F9C ebp=0013FE70 esp=0013FE68 eip=1000838A efl=00010202 cs=001B ss=0023 ds=0023 es=0023 fs=003B gs=0000 Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION#1 0x1000838a in -- at ttpcmn.dll#2 0x1000365d in CommRawOut() + 0x4d at ttpcmn.dll#3 0x00175bb0 in -- at <Unknown Module>

I use Windows XP SP3. Changing the baud rate does not resolve the issue. Other Terminal Program can send the file to the embedded system. This bug has been around for at least two years, all versions. If I remove the XON/XOFF flow control, it does not crash but the receivers buffers overflow.

When I select "CR"as new line-character in "Settings -> Terminal Settings" (hopefully translated correctly from my German version) for receiving, it appears to behave like "LF" was selected: When a CR is received, no new line is generated, only when LF is reveived. (CR+LF appear to work correct, but this generated 2 new lines when CR+LF is used as end-of-line).

In my application this is quite annoying (as both CR and CR+LF are used as end-of-line), therefore it would be great if this could be fixed. (I am using TeraTerm 4.73)

Tera Term 4.73 (SVN#4845) でKanjiをUTF-8に設定すると、以下の漢字が正しく表示されません。表示したいホスト上のファイルはUTF-8です。

Vers：　Tera Term 4.73 (SVN#4845)

設定：　Kanji:UTF-8（Receive：ホスト→端末）

誤表示：「─」（罫線素片「よこ」、BOX DRAWINGS LIGHT HORIZONTAL）

　　　　　　　　UTF-8　　E2 94 80

　　　　　　　　UCS-2BE　U+2500

　　　　　　　　CP932　　84 9F

　　　　　　　　EUC-JP　　A8 A1

　　　　　　　　JIS　　　28 21

ホスト上のファイルをCP932（SHIFT-JIS）に変換し、Tera TermのKanjiをSJISに設定すると問題なく表示できます。もちろん、ファイルがEUC-JPでKanjiがEUCP、JISとJISの組み合わせでも、それぞれ問題なく表示できます。

正しく表示というのは、どのように表示されている事を指していますか?

q として表示されているのでしょうか? 以下、これを前提として書きます。

正しい表示というのはどのような表示を期待していますか?

横罫線が全角で表示される事ですか? その場合は TERATERM.INI の UnicodeToDecSpMapping を 0 に変更してください。

横罫線が半角で表示されるのを期待している場合は、Tera Special フォントが入っていない事が原因だと思われますので、Tera Special フォントを入れてください。

Aux Printing.

Instead of printing to the printer add an option to direct the output to tempory file and then call a custom program with the tempory file as the passing parameter. e.g. send {esc}]4i .... {esc}]5i (normal aux printing.) Instead of sending it for printing, shelexecute "the_print_program tempory_file_path&name" with the output save in a tempory file(Random name). (set the_print_program up in the ini file)

以下の環境下でSSHログインする際に「パスワード」入力無しにログイン出来る事を確認しました。 お手数ですが、どのような仕様で発生するものかご確認頂けないでしょうか。

・ログイン手順

１．TCP/IPでサーバ名を入力し、SSH(SSHバージョン2)を選択して、OKを押す。 ２．「ユーザ名/パスフレーズ」を何も入れず(空白)とし、「チェレンジレスポンス認証を使う」を選択して、OKを押す。 ３．「Please enter user name」と出てくるので「ユーザ名」を入力する。

→パスワードを聞かれず、パスワード無しでログイン出来る。 但し、サーバ側のユーザ名・パスワードが同一の場合のです。例：ユーザ/パスワードが root/root

・サーバ情報

Solaris10 OpenSSL(11.10.0)

・teratermバージョン

4.67以前のもの(4.68からはユーザ名・パスワードを両方聞きにくる事を確認しています)

宜しくお願い致します。

Tera Term 4.67と4.68では、TTSSH.DLL だと 2.54 と 2.55 間になります。 下記の変更履歴が影響しているのかもしれません。

--keyboard-interactive認証において、パスワード変更が行えるようにした。 --SSH2 認証で、サーバが認証方式を返さなかったときにアプリケーションが落ちる問題を修正した。

Is there any development that would enable to select text via the keyboard from what appears on screen (for example like MS-Word, where you can hold down the Shift+arrow keys), the only way currently is to select the text with the mouse. This would help enabling 3rd party macros such as AutoHotKey.

i would like to run a Teraterm Macro on a Remote Window Server connected by a Telnet Session.

I used the command ttmacro and the result was the freeze of the Telnet Client.

How can i run the script?

When I configure a per character transmit delay using Setup->Serial:Transmit delay and enter in 1 as the msec/char delay, the delay seems much longer than 1 millisecond.

The delay implementation has a margin of error. So, when the delay is 1msec, Tera Term will wait more than 1msec. It is not bug but Tera Term's specification.

最小化した際、タスクトレイに格納する機能を追加していただけないでしょうか？

Tera TermをSSHのport forwardingに使用させていただいています。 接続したあとはTerm上での作業は行わないため、 タスクトレイ化してメニューバーの領域を圧迫しないようにしたいためです。

Hi, I am asking for following feature request, for Tera Term Macro:

1. .TTL files to be encrypted, in order that content cannot be seen or changed by any other person except the file creator itself. 2. Invoking encrypted .TTL files through the Tera Term Macro, by new command option. Macro should check consistency of .ttl files, and if files are not compromised, encode them (in memory) and execute commands from encoded content.

Reason for feature request: most of the time, we need some commands from .ttl files, to be executed on some network equipment (router, firewall, switch). Although we can encode username/password, the commands to be executed are readable by anyone, and someone could change .ttl files, and execute some commands that might compromise corporate network. To allow anyone to execute macro, but not to change initial macro file content, encoding/decoding of macro .ttl files, could allow that original file content cannot be changed, nor read by other people, but at the same time can be executed by anyone.

I hope this feature request will be accepted, and found useful by others.

It would be nice to be able to explicitly specify the new-line terminating characters in the Terminal Setup dialog. Currently the limitation is CR, LF, CR-LF, or AUTO. Not sure what AUTO means.

What I mean is that if we wanted 0xD1D4 to be the chars to specify new-line, it would be handy to be able to specify that.

その他の設定からEmterm風にするをOnにすると、 背景色と文字がともに黒くなり表示が見えなくなる事があります。 セッションの複製や、新しい接続を連続すると簡単に再現します。 その他の設定のEmeterm風にするが有効になったバージョンから4.76まで 再現します。
